Pilotes volontaires has approached the actors of rescue at sea in order to better assess the situation and thus provide the most appropriate response to the needs of associations operating in the Mediterranean Sea. So, after email exchanges that enabled us to start working on our offshore research project, last Monday, March 5, the team of Pilotes Volontaires met in Paris with the head of maritime operations of SOS MEDITERRANEE.
It was a very fruitful meeting which confirmed us once again that the need for airborne observation support is unfortunately proven and that our proposal is relevant.
We will continue our efforts and in a few weeks, we hope to be able to provide all the associations at sea with the air support they need. We will keep you informed of course!
